showimg filenames are not displayed fully

Using debian sid, latest showimg, kde versions.

In the left panel of window where the file names are displayed, the
names of the files are not displayed fully.

For example if the actual filename is
hp_scanDS_361815215438.jpg
I see it as
hp_s...
which makes it very tough to distinguish it from other files. Is this
a feature or bug? Can I make it display the whole file name without
the dots?
