pbm? Oh, I think you missed some letters there. I would think your kernel
is lacking PC-speaker support. For me, I have:
[n6tadam@station markup]$ grep -i spkr /boot/config-$(uname -r)
CONFIG_INPUT_PCSPKR=y
defined, which you should check.
