i assume you're using good-clean 18" long 80-conductor cable ..
	- NOT the round (out-of-spec) ide whacky-wires junk ...

i'd look for mis-matched disk speeds ..
	udma5 and udma6 and udma4 on the same ide cables
	( you cannot mix-n-match them up )

i cant tell from the "BB-00ccb0 BB075caa0"  options if you're using disks
with 2MB and 8MB buffers ... you can't mix the different buffers sized
disks on the same cable

maybe its (in reality) complaining about "hdg/hdh" 

i bet the problem goes away  if you removed hdi and hdj ..
or these (possibly misleading) "busy" errors moves to other disks
