I've seen this behaviour in the past, when using one of their non-USB
models. The problem is that the KVM doesn't support wheel mice, and
the rodent gets confused when it isn't re-initialized properly after a
switch. You can avoid the problem by configuring it as a standard
3-button mouse, at the cost of wheel-scrolling.
