..for those in need of spoonfeeding the wee hints:
'echo 1 >/proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward ' on the box 
you wanna forward _thru_, opens the forwarding, 
'echo 0 >/proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward ' to close 
the forwarding.
