If you're willing to use unstable to get KDE 3.1 maybe you'd be up to
using KDE CVS (3.2). My co-worker James maintains an apt repository for
Debian Unstable. All the details can be found at the following URL:
On the other hand, James tells me you could just wait a while for
kdemultimedia 3.1.3 to make it to Sid (as everyone else has mentioned
already) and "apt-get install kde-core" in the meantime.
