...altogether nine (9) updates of which exactly no package will be
installed on a sarge system since the version number of the normal
sarge package is higher.

Basically, there are _no_ security updates for sarge available. See
the Securing Debian Manual[1], especially chapter 11.3.7, as well as
Colin's message for further information.
