kde & ``unmet dependencies'' _heLL_ ???

I am very confused ;>

First, this system is woody.

<http://kde.org/download/> indicates that _all_ I need to upgrade to kde
v3.x is to add this to /etc/apt/sources.list :

	deb http://download.kde.org/stable/3.1.2/Debian stable

However, when I then do:

	apt-get dist-upgrade

it removes everything kde. When I allow this, and then do this:

	apt-get install kdebase kdm

I am greeted by ``unmet dependencies'' _heLL_ ;<

What is the secret?

What are the minimum requirements in sources.list?

What do you think?

Our capacity for understanding is inversely proportional to how much
we think we know. The more I know, the more I know I don't know . . .
