What is the command line for alsaplayer (-text) to play a CD?
How do I tell the command line plug in for alsaplayer that there is an
audio CD in the CD drive and that I would like to hear it? That is, what
is the appropriate command line?
I have installed alsaplayer-alsa, alsaplayer-common and
alsaplayer-text from unstable. Did I missed the documentation? According
to the documentation link of http://www.alsaplayer.org, they are working
on the documentation and currently refers interested parties to the
source.
As for the problem I had about No sound with alsa and sb:

I had set the levels to about 50% before asking. Now I raised it to
almost 100% and that was the solution. I know I have hearing problems
but I didn't expect to require such high levels.
