PPP mystery

Hello,

I am running KDE 3.1.1 (Kernel 2.4.18) on my Debian machine (HP Omnibook
500) and have suddenly starting having problems connecting to my DSL
provider. I verified that I've had no recent package updates or upgrades,
and I haven't recently changed any configurations with my DSL service. In
fact, I can still connect through my Windows partition.
Here's what my log says:

Any clues?

Thanks!
