Re: i815 on Woody
Thank Thomas, Sharninder Singh and Jessica,
I have tried to installed xfcom-i810-glibc2.1-1.0.0-rh60.i386.rpm, xfcom-i810_1.2-3.i386.rpm ( after alien --to-deb, and dpkg --install ). But I still cannot run X. Vesa can only give an screen of mess. In the xf86config, there is an item called i810 in card list, but the chip is <null>.
I just switched from Redhat, so I am not sure whether I have installed these pacakges correctly. Is there any other way to check it?
Can someone give more help? Or, is the i810 driver included in the offical cd? If included, what is the package name?
Thanks.
