that's the one i thought i got from unstable ... looks like i just got
an older one, though.

there is, in unstable ... i just downloaded the source, though

cool.  now it's up and working.  thanks to all who helped here!  now
once again, i too can be bothered by all the people i thought i left
in high school, and waste countless hours chatting online.  wa-hoo ...
