no eth0

Hi all,

it's my first time trying to establish a network connection.

Typing "ifconfig" doesn't show any eth0 interface.
With "modprobe pcnet_cs" I loaded the (hopefully) right
driver module for my pcmcia-network-card (Netgear FA411).

What do I have to do to get an eth0-interface to
"ifconfig eth0 ...ipaddress... up" without "eth0: unknown interface ..."?
