I'm currently using sid, with gdm and sawfish. I am able to get sounds from Sawfish, when loading, unloading, etc., but I cannot get the Gnome sounds at all. Even when displaying the Sound settings and pressing play. Since I can get sounds from Sawfish, I believe that I'm appropriately set up (ie, part of the audio group), so I don't know what else to do. The Gnome sound files exist, so that's not the problem. What else should I look for? Logan Bear
