Rebooted. Same results. Included below are changes I made to the
network.opts file. Also, should I reenter eth0 in my interfaces file in the
line:
auto lo
IPADDR="10.0.0.33"
NETMASK="255.255.255.0"
NETWORK="10.0.0.0"
BROADCAST="10.0.0.255"
# Gateway address for static routing
GATEWAY="10.0.0.254"
The DHCP entry is set to "n".
