I am not sure what you are looking for . I could not find any network related
error messages in kern.log or syslog . Though the messages by pump to syslog are attached, a similar such message is in deamon.log. If you could give me a better idea I would be happy to post the required. I am avoiding posting of the full logs as they are large , unless you would want me to.

And I am not sure what the following message from debug is about :
Aug 14 09:46:12 mandelbrot kernel: divert: allocating divert_blk for eth0
Aug 14 09:46:12 mandelbrot kernel: divert: not allocating divert_blk for non-et
hernet device dummy0

There were also a couple of these in debug .

Aug 17 14:07:02 mandelbrot pumpd[5140]: PUMP: sending discover
Aug 17 14:07:08 mandelbrot pumpd[5140]: reject: id: 0xb8fdc171 <--> 0xe2d8ffff
Aug 17 14:07:08 mandelbrot pumpd[5140]: reject: id: 0xb8fdc171 <--> 0xe2d8ffff

dmesg looks ok to me :
