osmesa,nvidia,libGL.so

sorry for the repost folks, but i think i sent this one out (several days
ago) at the worst possible time... i'll post things at times where they
have better chances of getting read next time...

i've seen some grievances regarding osmesa and nvidia libGL.so, and i was
wondering if anyone knew the status of using libOSMesa.so and nvidia's
shared libs. in any case, i am trying to use libOSMesa, but i get a bunch
of undefined symbol warnings, namely:

_glapi_Context
_glapi_add_entrypoint
_glapi_check_multithread
_glapi_get_context
_glapi_get_dispatch_table_size
_glapi_noop_enable_warnings
_glapi_set_context
_glapi_set_dispatch

where should these symbols be defined? (libOSMesa.so has those symbols
undefined, and i am only assuming that they should be in libGL.so or
libGLcore.so, or some main shlib in the GL series)

any help?
