hp deskjet 940c

hello debian!

i just got a hp deskjet 940c printer and plugged it into my computer
(usb worked seamlessly) i alread printed .ps files and stuff, so
basically the printer works.

yet, the quality is not very good. i've been told that the official hp
drivers work pretty well, however they want you to compile the
hp-package against the ghostscript source and then compile ghostscript.
now i would rather keep on using the debian ghostscript packages. is
there a possibility to get the hp-driver to work with the debian
packages?
