Irritating eepro100 error

I'm getting lots of this in my messages log:

Jun 26 10:06:36 geingob kernel: eth0: card reports no resources.
Jun 26 10:06:56 geingob last message repeated 9 times

The card is a built-in IBM fast ethernet card, driver eepro100.  It seems
like it's been fixed in the driver version on scyld.com, but I can't get
that to compile. Is anyone using debian with this card successfully?
