My ISP (LA Free-Net) also uses a proxy server, as seen by searching
for 'lafn' in Lynx configuration file:

 $ grep -i lafn /etc/lynx.cfg
 STARTFILE:http://www.lafn.org
 http_proxy:http://proxy.lafn.org:80/
 ftp_proxy:http://proxy.lafn.org:80/
 no_proxy:www.lafn.org

Those settings are in section:
 .h1 Proxy
