X keyboard- stuck shift & other
I've tried to RTFM but I haven't been able to find anything about my
particular keyboard problems. It seems that every keyboard problem
describes some other odd bug.
On my system, sometimes the shift appears to get 'stuck', in an X
session. I have to restart X (going back to the xdm login) to stop
this behavior. This is not capslock - everything is shifted,
including digits & mouse clicks. I've tried to start this behavior
intentionally by hitting the capslock key, but that's not it (I just
get all caps until I hit the button again).
This could be related to another problem, not quite so dire. The key
repeat seems to be too short - like 'bittten' when I type 'bitten'.
I'm going to try xset when I get home tonight.
