Learn a little more about the different kinds of news feeds. You will
want to set up a 'sucking' news feed, so install the Debian package
for suck. It will set up the connection to your nntp host.

There are other ways to do it, but the combination of suck and inn2 is
a very common one. inn2 can handle 'full' or 'ihave' feeds but unless
you have a couple of T1's or a T3 and MEGA disk space this is not the
way to go. (They are also fairly expensive.) Suck will allow inn2 to
interact with your nntp host as if inn2 were just another newsreader.
