GMT is the time in Greenwich England. It is 0000, all other timezones add or
subtract from it. So, for me I am -0800, so I add 8 hours to get back to GMT
time.
tzconfig sets your systems timezone. hwclock sets your hardware clocks time
until you can reboot and set it manually.
