[OFF-TOPIC] Video Servers

Hi

This question is related to linux but not directly to Debian. IF you're not
inrested in reading it, please accept my apologie and delete it.

I have to setup a Video on Demand Service (VoD). The customer isn't
particularly picky (?) about the operating system: it can be either windows NT or Linux.
Being a linux user and not having a great deal of expertise on windows i naturally
prefer to do it in linux.

The problem is that the service must be able to provide for a large number of
video formats, namely:

Real* (there is a server for Linux)
Quicktime (there is some support through Apple's Darwin, but still not very
reliable)
ASF (I wish)
Avi 
Mpeg
...

What I would like to know is if anyone knows of any server (money is not a
problem) or servers that can stream this video formats.
