Sorry for such delay. Here is what I learned to keep the windoz boxes
from causing redials.
Click on MY COMPUTER
Click on CONTROL PANEL
Click on NETWORK
Now, scroll down and high light "FILE AND PRINTER SHARING
FOR MICROSOFT NETWORKS"
Click on PROPERTIES and look at the ADVANCED Tab
Browse Master = Disabled if it isn't, change it
LM Announce = NO if it isn't, change it
That will stop M$ from looking for a master server (m$ server!) and
stop the constant redials. Do this to all the windoz boxes on your
local LAN.
I'll also post this to the net. This really used to bug the crap outta
me until I found the problem.
