I used to have that setup. If I'm not mistaken, I believe that my IDE
CD-ROM drive was /dev/hdc (with a symlink called /dev/cdrom pointing to
it) and my SCSI CD-ROM drive was /dev/scd0 (no symlink).
Do an ls -l /dev/cdrom to see what it's pointing to.
