X & Serial Ports
Hi, any help on this problem would be appreciated.
Upon booting up X with startx, the computer can no longer communicate with
the /dev/cua3, which my modem is connected to.
At this time, only a reboot seems to fix the problem.
There is no lock file for the port, sl0 is still up but reports constant
timeouts. If I re run dip, nothing it sends gets to the modem.
I do have cua1 on the same IRQ as the modem, but there is nothing
connected to cua1. This problem hasn't occured on any other debian
distributions except this one (1.2)
Thanks in advance,
