Ich würde auch raten, dass die Platte stirbt. Installier mal
smartmontools und poste die Ausgabe von smartctl -a. Knoppix brauchst Du
dafür nicht.
Poste auch mal die Ausgabe von smartctl -a von einem Zeitpunkt, an dem
das Problem auftritt. Mich interessiert insbesondere die Temperatur.
