das problem ist gelöst. (ich habe keine testing o.unstable version)
es ist ein python-versionskonflikt. bei mir war python2.3 u. python 2.4 
installiert. bittorrent braucht 2.3
link  /usr/bin/python zeigte auf python2.4 muss aber 
auf python2.3 zeigen und dann rennt es! gruss phritz
