Radeon, 2 Schirme und tvtime
Hallo an alle
In meinem Computer sitzt eine Radeon 9550 Karte mit zwei Videoausgängen (1x
digital, 1x analog). Daran hängen ein CRT und ein TFT. An sich funktioniert
das Ganze wunderbar, nur wenn ich fern sehen will auf dem TFT, streikt tvtime
mit folgenden Meldungen: (keine Probleme auf dem CRT)
Running tvtime 0.9.15.
rtctimer: Cannot set periodic interval: Permission denied
Failed to get 1024 Hz resolution from your RTC device. High
resolution access is necessary for video to be smooth. Please
run tvtime as root, set tvtime as SUID root, or change the
maximum RTC resolution allowed for user processes by running this
command as root:
sysctl -w dev.rtc.max-user-freq=1024

Wenn ich tvtime dann als root ausführe, zaubert es eine verkürzte Version der
oberen Meldung auf den Bildschirm:

Das system läuft mit den Treibern von ATI. Ich weiss nicht ob es sich wirklich
lohnt, die gatos Treiber auszuprobieren, denn auf dem andern Monitor
funktioniert alles wie es soll. Woran könnte es denn liegen dass der TFT
hierbei nicht mitmacht? Wenn er als einziger (und damit primärer) Monitor
angeschlossen ist, klappts auch darauf mit dem Fernsehn.
