DPMS Problem

Hallo,

ich habe das Problem, das mein Monitor nicht über DPMS sich nach der 
eingestellten Zeit ausschaltet.
Auch kann ich zwischen den 3 Zuständen (Standby, Suspend und Off) keinen 
Unterschied sehen.
Ich verwende einen CRT und einen Fernseher, wobei der TV das erste Gerät 
meiner Dual-NVidia (CS Treiber 1.0.7174-3) Config ist und der CRT das 
zweite.

ein "xset q" liefert:

Ich verwende die xorg Pakete von Ubuntu.(die für Debian modifizierte 
Version von http://neo.wh-stuttgart.de/debian)

Jemand noch eine Idee was da schief laufen könnte?
Ich kann mich dunkel errinnern, das der früher mal ausging, allerdings 
weiß ich nicht wie lange das her ist (könnte auch noch mit xfree 4.3 
gewesen sein)
