Die habe ich auch angelegt und mir in /etc/rcS.d
einen Symlink "S01hdparm" erstellt.

Habe ich auch, aber meine Samsung SP0802N (80 GByte, 2,8 MByte/Sec)
will keinen DMA !
Meine DHEA-83451 (8,4 GByte, 5,2 MByte/Sec) allerdins ja.
