USB-ADSL und pppd Abstürze bei Downloads...

Hallo,
nachdem ich, seit ich ADSL'isiert bin, laufend Abstürze des pppd's
zu verzeichnen habe, bin ich zu dem Schluß gekommen, das es mit
einem fehlerhaften http/ftp Protocol zu tun hat.
Ich habe mir von <ftp://ftp.de.debian.org/>, <ftp://ftp.debian.org/>,
<ftp://cdrom.debian.org/> sowie <ftp://archive.debian.org/> mir
mittlerweile über 50 GByte gezogen, ohne das der pppd auch nur einmal
abgestürzt währe...
Jedesmal wenn ich auf <http://www.mazika.com/> gehe und mp3's aus
einem Script und mit 'wget' herunterlade stürzt der pppd nach einer
weile Traffic (20-40 MByte) ab.
Das gleiche gillt auch für zwei andere Down-Load-Sites.
Ein Bekannter hatte Probleme, mit dem Download der "UNIX-Tools für
WindowsXP", Service-Packs, usw., und hatte mich gebeten es mit Linux
auf <ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/> zu versuchen.
Es funktioniert einwandfrei.
Es sind also nur ein paar Server die diese Abstürze verursachen.
Hat jemand mit sowas Erfahrung ?
Dachte erst, das es am 'ip_conntrack_ftp' Modul liegt, aber das kann
nicht sein, den Mazika ist ja http-Protocol.
Ach ja, bin seit gestern dabei, ein paar GByte Sourcen zu ziehen.
Kein Absturz.
Am ende habe ich noch meiner Verbindungen seit dem 19.01.2004
aufgelistet, also seit dem ich 512/128kBit habe.
