Re: Problem mit loopback device
Bei mir war in /etc/hosts:
127.0.0.1 debian
# The following lines are desirable for IPv6 capable hosts
# (added automatically by netbase upgrade)
::1 ip6-localhost ip6-loopback
fe00::0 ip6-localnet
ff00::0 ip6-mcastprefix
ff02::1 ip6-allnodes
ff02::2 ip6-allrouters
ff02::3 ip6-allhosts
Erste Zeile geändert in:
127.0.0.1 debian localhost
Brachte zunächst nichts,
ping -c3 localhost ging nicht, da auch
ping -c3 127.0.0.1 nicht ging.

Der Hinweis auf /etc/network/interfaces hat
weiter geholfen. An die Datei
(zunächst nur Kommentar):
# Used by ifup(8) and ifdown(8). See the interfaces(5) manpage or
# /usr/share/doc/ifupdown/examples for more information.

auto lo
iface lo inet loopback
(wie als Beispiel empfohlen)
