Pas de son enregistré avec mon microphone, juste le silence



J'essaie d'installer un micro sur une Debian 5.0.6 "lenny" mais je
n'enregistre que du silence.

aplay (ou mplayer) fonctionnent bien et je peux écouter les fichiers
MP3 ou WAV.

arecord me montre bien une carte :

Mais lorsque j'enregistre, avec un casque/micro branché sur le port
microphone :

Le fichier test-mic.wav ne contient que du silence.

J'ai essayé avec deux casques/micro différents donc je pense que le
problème ne vient pas du matériel.
