smartmontools + debian etch et noyau halfetch 2.6.24

J'aimerais faire fonctionner smartmontools sur ma debian etch avec noyau
halfetch 2.6.24.
Apparemment, je supporte la technologie smart :
# smartctl -i -d ata /dev/sda

Mais, quand je veux voir les caractérisitqques par valeur de mon disque
dur, ca ne amrche aps:

J'ai tenté ca: smartctl -s on -d ata /dev/sda puis, smartctl -S on -d
ata /dev/sda, mais ca n'a pas l'air de changer quelque chose.
