L'initrd est «construit» au moment de la post-installation du package. Donc, un petit # dpkg-reconfigure linux-image-2.6.14-1-686 fait l'affaire. Pour le pb de non reconnaissance du deuxième processeur il faut installer un kernel avec l'extension -smp donc # apt-get install linux-image-2.6.14-2-686-smp devrait faire l'affaire. De plus, il me semble qu'il faut aussi changer les entrées hda en sda dans /etc/fstab.
