Oui ..
Le find ne trouve pas de .xinitrc u de .xsession.
Les plus approchant que j'ai trouvé est:
/etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc
#!/bin/sh
# $Xorg: xinitrc.cpp,v 1.3 2000/08/17 19:54:30 cpqbld Exp $
# /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc
#
# global xinitrc file, used by all X sessions started by xinit (startx)

et /etc/X11/xinit/xserverrc
#!/bin/sh
exec /usr/bin/X11/X -dpi 100 -nolisten tcp

Et j'ai un .xseesion-errors sur le compte utilisateur:
/etc/gdm/PreSession/Default: Registering your session with wtmp and utmp
/etc/gdm/PreSession/Default: running: /usr/bin/X11/sessreg -a -w
/var/log/wtmp -u /var/run/utmp -x "/var/lib/gdm/:0.Xservers" -h "" -l ":0"

Par contre... ca ne ressemble pas vraiment à un message d'erreur...
