Comment configurer une carte WiFi NetGear WG311

Bonsoir,

Après moultes recherches je m'en retourne à ma liste debian adorée.

Ma question est la suivante :
Comment faire fonctionner une carte WirelessFidelity :
NetGear WG311 54Mb/s sur ma debian woody. Noyau 2.4.24

J'ai essayé 2 drivers :
le prism54 et le madwifi

voici le resultat du mawifiwiki :

Avant quelques info sur ma carte pci :

# iwconfig ath0 mode ad-hoc channel 10 rate 54M auto essid mon_reseau nick
server
-----------------------------------------------
Error for wireless request "Set Mode" (8B06) :
SET failed on device ath0 ; No such device or address.
-----------------------------------------------

si je fais :
# iwconfig ath0 mode managed channel 10 rate 54M auto essid mon_reseau nick
server

Ca passe.

Il semblerait qu'il n'accepte pas le mode Ad-hoc (network composed of only one

cell and without Access Point)

Ensuite :

Si j'adresse les cartes wifi et que je ping :
# ifconfig ath0 inet 192.168.0.101 up
# ping -c 192.168.0.101
-----------------------------------------------
PING 192.168.0.101 (192.168.0.101): 56 data bytes

--- 192.168.0.101 ping statistics ---
3 packets transmitted, 0 packets received, 100% packet loss
-----------------------------------------------

# ifconfig ath0 (sur l'autre machine)
-----------------------------------------------
ath0 Lien encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:09:5B:98:0A:87
          inet adr:192.168.0.102 Bcast:192.168.0.255 Masque:255.255.255.0
UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1

          Interruption:10 Mémoire:c8a30000-c8a40000
-----------------------------------------------

On voit errors:78880!!!

Après un véritable roman...
Quelqu'un a une idée????

Merci,
