[Debian]:Groff/Troff: Cannot find macro file safer

Hi
ich habe mir soeben GNU Groff 1.11 kompilliert (auf einer Slink). Dazu
benutzte ich die Sourcen von einem GNU Mirror.
Allerdings kann ich jetzt keine Manpages mehr bewundern:
[root@ricola /usr/local/stow]> man pgp
| Formatiere pgp(1) neu, bitte warten...
| troff: fatal error: can't find macro file safer
[root@ricola /usr/local/stow]>
Was heisst das bzw. was kann man dagegen tun?
