I have no idea - but I do have a tendency to install whatever random
packages are in the Debian archive, not only those that I strictly
need... although I do need TeX.

I did that because the error message instructed me to do this.

Maybe, but I can't remember.

Done. Now, running "dpkg --configure -a" completed.

The "experimental" is only in there because I wanted to have the 3.3
kernel. I added it only very recently.
