By the way: I recreated Format: 3.0 source packages of your TeX Live 2008 packages from people.d.o/~preining. I didn't test them very much but recompressing the origs with lzma and then changing the source format to 3.0 (quilt) was no problem. dpkg-source has built proper packages. Again: I didn't really test them but at least there were no error messages. :) Hauke
