Here's what I get:

It appears (maybe) that there is a problem with one of the install scripts
(postinst?) that either fails to put fmtutil.cnf in the right place,
or installs it and then deletes it, or..?
Note that:
/tmp/tetex.postinst.XXPsNQXI
is a file of zero size.
