Hi,

I was working at these bugs in February. Unfortunately I didn't have
the time to complete the work and I probably won't have it in the
near future. When trying to get an overview, which TeX related
packages do exist I hit on latex-xft-fonts. The description reads:

Some xft-compatible versions of LaTeX fonts for use with visual math
symbol display in LyX. It is useful primarily for the LyX Qt
frontend. It is also useful for Mozilla Firefox with MathML
documents.

I guess, this is exactly, what I was aiming at, when starting the
work. I guess, we should file a wishlist bug against Mozilla, to put
a Recommend (or an Suggest) into the package and then close these
bugs.
I just don't know, whether these fonts work together Mozilla too or
only with Firefox. I'll try to test that ASAP. The package just
contains the TrueType versions of the BlueSky-Research Fonts. I guess
XFree should be able to render them.

Regards,
  Hilmar
