Yes, we are in a very delicate situation, I guess.

Well, I started to maintain tetex packages with beta
version (just before the release of 2.0) and, from
that experience, I would say that we should work hard
to fix (basic or fundamental) bugs and upload corrected
new packages almost everyday for a while but two or three
months might be sufficient to get stable tetex packages 
to some extent...
