Version: 2.0.2-5.1
Severity: normal

When I lauch xdvi from a directory I can't write in, xdvi stops and doesn't
show the file. Here is an exemple of the problem :

$ cd /usr/share/doc/texmf/amstex
$ xdvi amsguide.dvi.gz
Error in tempfile() using tetexXXXXXX.dvi: Parent directory (.) is not writable
 at /usr/bin/xdvi line 68
