Sure: I can test for updmap and call it, but it's not worth, cause I
have to assume, that tetex-bin is not installed. If anybody want to
use the Type1-fonts in teTeX he has to install tetex-extra, which
call updmap in postin.
In summary: These fonts belong to teTeX. Now we create a package,
containing these fonts, which is completely independent of teTeX,
cause there are other applications which can use them, like Mozilla.
