Ah, but now I see the problem: We don't have one
/etc/texmf/updmap.d/00updmap.cfg for the fonts in tetex-base and
tetex-extra - simply the upstream one.

If somebody has lack of work, we could separate this. But I think it
isn't really worth it, currently - and for sure not necessary for
tetex-extra-type1fonts.
