Bug#136051: tetex-bin: fmtutil is not robust (mktexupd seg faults)
Package: tetex-bin
Version: 1.0.7+20011202-3.1
Severity:
Appended is the output of the tetex-bin postinst from a recent upgrade
in "testing". Although mktexupd seg faulted, fmtutil completed
successfully. This is probably a bug in fmtutil. Shell scripts should
usually have "set -e" if they want to be robust (though I didn't test
fmtutil with "set -e", so something else may break if you do this). I
suspect this problem affects other scripts in this package.
As for the seg fault itself, my computer is a bit flaky, so this is
probably just a hardware glitch. I don't think you should look into it
unless someone else reports it.
