Well, has I said.. thanks to all of you who tried to help me out. I gave 
back the machine tonight, and showed my friends what linux debian was 
about, using my usb mouse, and they decided to buy a new mouse and try 
to leave xp aside. Still a little bit sad not to have solve the stupid 
mouse problem....
